e-waste

I didn’t like how all these huge companies were burning so many toxic materials in areas they feel aren’t important. They make tons of money and still feel it necessary to ruin so many people’s lives. These people don’t even do anything wrong. They don’t have the money to pay for doctor visits for all the problems that the toxins create. I feel the companies are being unfair to innocent people and something needs to be done for them.

Digitizing Books

I personally really like the fact that all these books are being digitized. I like to read, and when someone tells me I should read a certain book, I don't want to have to take an unneeded trip to a bookstore. Also when I get bored at home I will be able to read online. I have already used Google to read the first few chapters of a book that was next in the series I am reading. I will become more interested in books because I can read them first.

My First Blog

I am a junior at John B. Connally High School. I am a pitcher for the Varsity softball team at the school. I live with both of my parents, but am definantely a daddy's girl. I do everything with him. He is the one to take me to select softball tournaments and the one to take me hunting. Although he works a lot, we hang out as often as possible. I hate letting him down, because I feel like I have just let the world and God down. I am also a strong Christian. I believe Jesus died to forgive men their sins if we ask to be forgiven. I have a younger sister, Jessica, who is a sophomore here at Connally. She is an athlete like me and plays softball. As I mentioned earlier, my dad takes me hunting all the time. There are different seasons for different animals, but we hunt them all. He has been there for every first animal I shot. He backs me on everything and supports all my good decisions. I grew up in a small town north of here about half an hour. Jarrell is still my hometown and all the people I can count on most live there. I grew up on country music and you can tell in the ways I express myself. The way I talk, what I say, how I dress, and the things I like to do. Before we moved to the city, I rode horses. My favorite event was barrell racing. I loved all the people I was around at shows and rodeos. I loved spending time with my horse Slick, a big beautiful Quarter Horse. For the most part I am a smart student. I work hard to make good grades and keep them. I want to get into a D1 college like Texas Tech or Texas A&M. I haven't really decided what I want to major in, but I want something to do with either Equine studies or become a Wedding Coordinator.
